Uniform

At Banksia Road Public School, we take great pride in our school uniform. The NSW Department of Education requires all students in government schools to wear a uniform, and we embrace this as a way to help our students feel confident, connected and ready to learn each day.

Our uniform represents belonging. When students arrive in full school uniform, they show pride in themselves and in being part of the Banksia Road PS community. It builds unity, creates a shared identity and sets a positive tone for learning.

School hats are a compulsory part of our uniform. As a Sun Safe school, all students must wear a Banksia Road hat whenever they are outdoors. This expectation is mandatory for all students and staff. If a student is not wearing their school hat, they will be required to stay in the designated shade area during break times. Hats can be purchased from the school uniform shop.

The uniform shop

Uniforms are available for purchase from The Uniform Shop, next to our school library. The Uniform Shop is open every Monday and Friday from 8.30am. Additional hours of operation are provided at the start of the year. Please call the school office for more information.
